Hey everyone,
I’m attempting to roll out a win 11 image for my company in Azure and my builds are fine. My boss wants me to remove start menu default pinned apps and set it manually for our organization (to only show windows calc, teams, etc show up under start menu pinned apps.
I’ve already rebuilt a .Xlm file and put it under c:\users/default/microsoft/windows/startmenu (and replaced the file there) but when I restart, remove my profile and sign in it is stuck on the default windows 11 base image pinned items. It doesn’t seem to want to go away on itself either, I even tried to manually create a group policy on the machine but the default windows 11 pinned apps (excel, etc) won’t go away.
Any ideas?
