We acquired another company (small) that has a Sophos firewall and an Aruba switch which was managed by an MSP. Can someone help explain to me why they would have done this? I asked the MSP and they have no idea, and they set it up.
Managed Aruba switch but every port is on same VLAN. 192.168.0.0/24
Firewall has two LAN interfaces.
Port 1 is configured 192.168.0.0/24 hooked up to Aruba. Makes sense
Port 2 is configured 192.168.1.0/24 and hooked up to same Aruba switch. Doesnโt make sense. Who would configure it like this unless they had a separate VLAN configured?
