Hey guys!
Let's talk about the bane of our existence: the tsunami of cold emails crashing into our inboxes, sometimes up to 3-4 times a DAY. It's like Gmail has thrown its hands in the air and surrendered, leaving us to ourselves.
So I built a tool based on AI to detect cold emails using a snippet from the email, the sender domain and the history of email exchanged with this sender. And to my surprise after a few months having it turned on, it's working like a charm with very few false-positive.
So I told myself I'll eventually release this tool publicly so anyone can use it, but I would love your advice on this one: what I do with the emails once they're flagged?
Picture this: The tool could automatically yeet them into spam, hit them back with a polite (or sassy?) “No thanks, no more emails,” slap a custom label on them for a bit of organized chaos... the possibilities are endless! But I'm at a crossroads, trying to figure out the best move.
And hey, if you've got any other brilliant ideas or improvements, don't hold back! Let's brainstorm together and create something awesome.
