Bitlocker - Cannot find any bootable devices
Post Body

I've got a Samsung 980 Pro SSD using bitlocker in hardware encryption mode with an Asus Dark Hero 8 motherboard and hardware TPM. All has been great for years, then last night Windows was behaving oddly and wouldn't shut down, I hard powered off, and when I tried to turn it back on the motherboard was going into a boot loop straight into the bios. When I investigated it says "cannot find any bootable devices".

I loaded up Ubuntu on a live cd to try and image it before I muck around with it.. and I'm able to back up all the other partitions on the disk except the one that is protected by bitlocker.. dd just throws I/O errors. I'm guessing this is because the hardware is actually preventing me from reading it if it isn't unlocked? I checked my data disk which is protected by bitlocker and it exhibited the same behavior on its bitlocker protected partition. Also, I did check, and the disk I expected to boot is marked with a boot flag according to gparted...

I've got the identifier, password, key, and recovery key, but not really sure where to go next as I've never seen this happen. Help appreciated! Thanks.
