Unfortunately the revolution has failed in syria. Assad is still in power and there is no real force threatening this power.
But what I want to know is why there are still rebels resisting in idlib?
Do they believe this pocket can expand in the future and are therefore trying to keep a grip on it for as long as possible until they have such power?
Because besides that, it's probably just a waste of human life to keep the war ongoing. More air raids would be likely in the future.
So what is the reason they are keeping this war ongoing?

Iām not familiar with belligerent relations so would the AANES welcome them for whatever reason they had to leave Idilb?
