Looking for hardware(mostly) drum ideas
Post Body

I have a Hydrasynth and an OG Circuit as my main core. I have the Drumkid which is loads of fun, but not quite what I’m looking for in performances. I want to be able to have 8-12 sessions/projects/whatever saved within a device that I can recall quickly on stage. I also don’t want to just trigger whole songs. My goal is to have something like Ableton Live beat repeat style options. I do have a laptop that could host some software but I crashed a much better computer with my music stuff so this is why I’d love hardware. I basically need to do on the fly fills/rolls and everything else is just icing on top.

I’m looking at:

Polyend Play(and Tracker to a lesser extent) Roland SP404 mk2 Launchpad with software(which is what I used on my previous laptop

What else should I consider?! I’d love to keep it under $1000 and more like $500-700

Edit: nevermind, I decided the Polyend Play was the best option. Found a new sealed in box for $740 tax
