Adjusting volume knob on JP-8080 causes inconsistent output on left and right channels
Post Body

I recently obtained a Roland JP-8080 and mainly hear its output via the headphone jack, but when I adjust the volume knob, crackling noises are produced and the audio may switch to only being output on the left channel. Also, the audio distorts if I turn the knob up past the 2 o'clock position. Included in this post is a sample of this in action. (Warning: I've normalized this recording to -8 dB, but turn down your headphones or speakers anyways)

How should I resolve this problem?
