I've started gathering together components for my roaming synthesizer troubadour for burning seed.
Ingredients:
- Volca bass
- Pocket Operator robot
- Belkin rockstar
- Rockband keytar with arduino powered neopixels
- UE Boombox speaker
My current plan is to 3d print mounts for the volca and pocket operator, and screw them onto the body of the guitar. I have the volca bass, beats and keys - but I think I'll take the bass because it's so much fatter and I'll take the PO because it's much smaller than the volca beats.
On the inside of the keytar I'll mount some 18650 batteries and an arduino that is daisy chained off the midi plug so I can make the lights strobe in time to my keyboard playing.
Last year I just wandered around with the volca bass and the speaker, but it'll be a bit more of a show having an LED-enhanced keytar for performance.
