I was looking in to making some different sounds so I decided to play around with Synths. my buddy lent me some old equipment so I can play around with it. Not sure if I have everything so I can hook up to my computer.

This is what I have below:

M-Audio - USB Midi Sport 2x2
Roland JV-1080 - from what I understand this is analog and the computer setup process is a little different.
MIdi Keyboard Controller Edirol PCR-M80
MPC 1000 AKAI professional

I assume my m-audio is my midi interface. the MPC 1000 AKAI is the Midi CV-Gate Converter. The rest is of course the keyboard and synth itself.

Can someone let me know if this is correct or if I need to buy anything else? Thank you.
