Keeping an old synth out in the cold?
Post Body

Hi there, I recently got my hands on an 1971 Yamaha YC-30 (an organ I know not a synth sorry but it uses divide down synthesis so I guess it kinda counts?) and where I live it gets a little cold in the dead of winter, maybe -5°C at worst. I have it in a garden room which has a bit more insulation than just a shed but still gets pretty cold in the winter, not freezing but maybe about 6C° on a really cold day. I was just wondering if it'd be alright to keep the organ in there when winter rolls round. I know it's not too big of a problem for modern synthesizers but I wasn't sure if that applied for something that is pushing 53. Thanks in advance :)
