Hey all,
I'm looking to experiment a bit outside of the box and I'm struggling to decide which path to take.
I'm basically just looking to layer my single synth, loop some ideas, and add some drums (which I don't have a device for). Bonus point for sequencer but maybe not mandatory.
Ideally it's a relatively playful process with capability for decently intricate ideas. Say, 2 different sections of 8 bars or something. Basically not really looking to get stuck in a 4 bar loop but no need to arrange the entire thing either.
The rest of the arrangement and mixing can happen in the box.
Seems like OT has the lead so far. But maybe a Digitakt would do? Something else I haven't considered? And the last little caveat is that I'm not looking for super powerful devices with large screen either lol. I.E Push 3 or Maschine with built in synths.
