MiniNova Synthesizer New Set up

Howdy, I just bought a used MiniNova and after factory resetting it, after holding a key down for a certain period of time the synth its self will do a quick power reset it seems like. I double checked the manual online and it says the PSU requirement is 100 - 250 VAC. I have my power strip with my amp and the synth into it. The power strip its self says it supports 125 VAC. Any tips?
P.S. The synth also kind of got warm at the bottom side of it. Thats what makes me believe its a power thing.
