I have a DS 418J running SHR with 3 drives (4, 4 & 6TB). Everything was working perfectly, in fact I checked the volumes to confirm. Then, used the software control panel to shut down and plug into a different router. When I tried to reboot, I get a constant beeping and both Status light and HDD 3 are solid amber color, and I cant connect to the DS on my network. I presume this means disk 3 is dead. I have reseated all drives more than one time, to no avail.
Whats the repair procedure? Do I pull disk 3 and try to boot with just 2 drives, or do I replace drive 3 with a new disk and then try to boot. Obviously, salvaging my data is my main priority.
