Using *.local domains from Synology's shell.

Post Body
I'm trying to set up my Synology as a jump proxy for my SSH connections within my LAN from outside.
But the main thing blocking me is local dns resolution. I'm able to access all my linux devices with "HOSTNAME.local" from the LAN except from the NAS. When ever I try to resolve one of those domains it fails. I don't know what's missing there to resolve it, since I can access the NAS the same way from any linux device.
Edit: I did try to do this: https://www.hexblot.com/blog/resolving-local-domains-linux
But it does more damage than anything
