Adding SSD Readonly Cache for Video and Photo Storage

I just got two extra 1tb NVMEs and was planning to add them to my NAS hoping:
1) rendering photos in file station would load faster 2) make videos load faster in Plex
Am I making the right assumptions? I’ve checked on other posts that there wouldn’t be an issue on loading SSD post configuration of NAS. I just wanted to make sure that I’m installing these ssds and benefit given these two use cases
