Bad Sector HDD - Data Recovery Solutions?

Post Body

Hi All,

To give you first an overall image of my system, it is as follows:

DS432 2 HDD

  1. 8TB Seagate Iron Wolf
  2. 8TB Toshiba

The Toshiba drive which has run overall just 6500 hours (which isn't a lot) started to give me bad sectors on the HDD, this might be due to some unplanned power outages when cleaning the house occurs. What I did seeing that I couldn't access it anymore (or so I thought) I tried connecting it to my PC directly via SATA (Windows Machine) and trying to see if I could recover some of that data (it is about 5TB).

Silly me, I deleted the partition where Synology had its "image" and unfortunately when connecting to it, it sees it as a new HDD, of course, it would as I had deleted Pool and the Volume too.

Is there any way I might be able to recover these files, any solutions are welcome.

I do have an external 5TB that I can use to transfer all the files too, which I can connect via USB...

EDIT 1: The data is still on the HDD I just don't know how to access it.

EDIT 2: The only partition I deleted is the one where Synology has the image... the "DATA" portion which is about 7.7TB is still intact and hasn't been touched.
