How do you get decent transfer speeds on WIFI? DS1520+

Post Body

I have a DS1520 . My Mac Studio is in my basement and there's no feasible way to get an ethernet cable to it right now. I have about 1.5 TB of data on my Studio to transfer and am getting speeds of like 70k-1MB at best down here. Even when I'm connected via ethernet upstairs, I only get like 5-10 MB.

I don't know if I have something set up wrong, but my speedtest upload speed falls around 300mbps when I'm on ethernet and around 55mbps when I'm on wifi. I'm on a 1.2gbps internet, but literally never get that - most I've ever had for download speed is 800mbps.

What should I look at in my setup to see why my speeds only suck when doing Synology transfers?
