So I live in an apartment, and the young adult living with his parents in the apartment directly below has a full on drum set. He drums around 5 days a week and sometimes for as long as 4-5 hours, other days maybe 1-2 hours.
This is anywhere between midday until 7pm.
The noise is so loud, and the next building over is like 15m away so the sound literally bounces off every wall and amplifies.
I've spoken to strata, I've spoken to real estate, I've spoken to the kid and his dad, and we can't come up with a resolution that suits all parties and stops driving us crazy. His dad is very stubborn and says that he must keep practising (as if he's gonna be some break out rockstar).
Does anyone else think it is disrespectful and inconsiderate to be drumming when you live in an apartment?
