safest and (most) beautiful route to Blue mountain for one person ?

Hey!
would love to check out the amazing scenery in blue mountain but I am prob going to go by myself.
so I wonder which route/part would be the safest - I def don't wanna get lost in such bloody cold weather.
but in the mean time I do want to have a look at the amazing yellow/red leaves scenery.
Any advice ?
