I was chatting with a workmate over some ideas from some of the fan made sourcebooks I’ve been skimming. One of the topics that arose was resource management for starships and another was the starweird.
He proposed an idea that I quite like for a one off and I’m curious if I’m the only one that finds it interesting to try or if I’m forgetting a detail about the lore.
The game is basically in the style of “among us”. Each player is given or creates a character for the game that is going on an expedition to unknown space. One person (or the GM) plays the captain. They are responsible for monitoring consumables on the expedition.
On the journey the ship is being pursued in hyperspace by a starweird that is being drawn to a force sensitive player (post order 66) and everyone on the expedition has a secret to keep. The captain and crew have to determine who the force sensitive is to either appease the starweird or help them all escape. They either reach their destination, maybe return after, turn back immediately or run out of resources in the middle of nowhere…
