Hey all, it's me again.
I posted a thread on Clone Wars Villains and got some great feedback; and then I realized that you guys are awesome, and wanted to leech some ideas.
So, I wanted to give my players a sense of freedom to choose where they go next, so I'm introducing a mechanic I'll refer to as "The Warmap" (I know creative right?). The Warmap is a map of the Galaxy set during the Clone Wars era. My plan is to allow the players, NOT the characters select from the map where they'd like to go next. I'm using Foundry VTT, so I've made it to where certain planets have icons you can click, and when you do it shows the planet, a quick description, and a synopsis of the adventure to be had. No I am not preparing the entire adventure beforehand, they will select the adventure AND THEN I will prepare it over the next two weeks before the next session.
Now that you have that idea in your mind; I'm looking for plot hooks for planets! They don't have to be for a specific planet, but just like, short plot hooks with maybe even a secret twist.
I have two thus far:
- Antar: The Separatist Ship "The Manevalence" crashed on the dead moon of Antar. The party needs to go to Antar and secure the planet, as it is at the moment a contested system.
Ensure Separatist forces are unable to re-acquire the ion cannon technology, or worse, pirates.
- Coruscant: Jedi Master Agen Kolar and his Padawan, Tan Yuster (I know he died in the battle of Geonosis I'm going a little off Cannon sometimes), were sent to investigate reports of Separatist forces deep within the inner levels of the planet. 4 Standard Days ago, the Jedi Council lost contact with both. Investigate the matter and return Master Kolar and his Padawan to the Temple.
Twist: Tan Yuster dies, Agen Kolar remembers the party when he is assigned to the Council a few months later (could be good or bad for them).
So yeah, those are some examples. Any ideas? Any ideas I leech will be given proper credit in their synopsis of the adventure for the planet.
