My maintenance calories are 3,000 and I add 300 more for a total of 3,300 calories to eat every day. But what if one day I burn 2,700 calories and eat the 3,300. That’s a 600 calorie surplus. Then the next day I burn 4,000 calories. That’s a 700 calorie deficit. Should I adjust my calorie intake for how much I burn? Or always stay at the 3,300 calorie intake no matter what I burn?
