Brothers and sisters, I come to you a new disciple, seeking guidance of the path to glorious gains. I have been reguarly attending the Iron Temple and partaking of protein for the past month, and already I feel the beginnings of swolness taking root. However, earlier today I attempted the holy squat, and found that my form began to rapidly deteriorate. Seeking to protect myself from injury, I lessened the weight, which only helped temporarily, and a few times I felt myself inadvertently engaging my back into the exercise. Soon, I was no longer certain of my ability to squat safely at all, though I yet had strength in my legs. So, I turned to the leg press machine, and completed my prayers with that.
I ask, did I behave wisely, or was it a creature of sloth that bade me turn away from the squat?
