So this may not be the sub for this, but I've grown to trust the opinions of some in here so I figured this is as good a place as any to ask...
What do you think of Reddit going public on Thursday? There are two sides to this question.
A.) Do you think it's a good investment to jump in on at the open? I believe there are some strange stipulations that the inside holders do not have a lockup period like most IPOs which could trigger a selloff, and mute any opening day gains.
B.) As a redditor (user) do you like the idea or think it'll be bad for the soul of the platform? I worry being beholden to shareholders will push everything to revenue generation, more intrusive ads and less autonomy and freedom of speech.
