I met an amazing guy during my recent trip to Colombia. We were in the same travel group so that’s how we met. I noticed how quiet, shy, and awkward he was - he stood out to me. I decided to talk to him slowly. One night, we were in the same group for a fun activity and we talked the whole night- then later that night, we went out to dance. We have a few drinks (maybe 6 shots) we drank a lot. We danced a lot, the dancing part was so fun. The chemistry, the intense eye contact, looking at each other lips and everything was magical. He invited me over to his room. We tried doing it, but I think we were both way too drunk and I couldn’t get there- neither could he. I couldn’t get wet or loosen up, my moth was dry and idk it was too much. A few nights later, we danced again for the night and I went up to his room and he told me “can I be honest with you? I like you but not like that, idk, I’m not feeling it” this confused me so much. I said good night and went to my room. I ignored him for the rest of the trip and I wish I spoke to him some more. I really liked him because he’s older, quiet, to himself, doesn’t use social media. I am sad that things ended like this and mostly sad that he didn’t like me back?
