In the other channel, someone (maybe it was me, I don't recall) used the term "lifestyle" to refer to people in authority transfer relationships. Wow the reaction from the swingers was not good, to say the least! I have been a part of the swinging community, and I am now a part of the BDSM / TPE community, and both use the term "lifestyle" to refer to what they do and/or how they live. But, the BDSM people don't claim a monopoly on the term ;-)
What do y'all think?
They are both lifestyles. Adjacent and sometimes with lines that are blurry (why do “lifestyle” clubs have dungeons?)
