What is swing curious?

For us it meant excitement. Just the early process of reading blogs and LS related material and then discussing it. We were 100% "just talking" about LS. We made it abundantly clear to each other constantly "we had no interest"..... But we were talking about it constantly. After a little while it became clear we were interested. When we started this little journey we were quite judgmental. Our hangups and predispositions are the products of over 50 years of living in the rural Bible Belt South. We quickly found that a lot of those evaporated after we read more and begin to meet LS couples. We met couples early on just for drinks and supper. But this gave us a great opportunity to learn a lot about LS. We've had people to share very mundane things with us and frankly some exceptionally wild behavior. This was all new and exciting for us. I think at that point we were certainly Swing Curious. Some other things began to change as well. We couldn't help but notice that we were closer. We were kinder to each other and frankly sweeter to each other in almost every way. We've always got along well but this was more like when we first started dating 34 years ago. Passion was through the roof! We also began to enjoy how easy it became to share with one another. Things related to sex that in the past we would have never been able to have mentioned were now commonplace. We were still in the swing curious category when we were taken by another couple to a sex club. We however were Swingers when we left the club. 😉
