I have a 27 foot pool and a pool reel i installed the beginning of this season … i have had issues with it as it came with no instructions.
I mounted it ( level ) where it was 8” off the top of the pool edge and it was always hard to reel … now i have raised it up to about 16” up thinking if it pulled upwards it would be easier … now its impossible to reel …
What would be your suggestions on how to mount this and or use it better ? Im going to be lowering it back to its original height soon
( it is a 30’ reel with a 10” deflection in the center , it is mounted on 4x4s laser leveled and spaced accordingly , as far as i know installation shouldn’t be an issue )
Is there a motorized version or something i can do ?
When we go to take it off , we expose 1/3rd of the cover over the edge of the pool and manually twist to start the cover. The straps are not installed. As we did not want to put holes in the cover .
Seems to be more of an issue of physical strength … any help appreciated
