Questions after rain .

Have a 27’ pool with 17000 gallons of water . Chlorine feeder and heated to 83 degrees . Experiencing my first rain fall this week with about 2 inches or rain expected : i pretreated with a bag of shock and a little algecide ( 2 oz ) …. Was there any other preventive or post maintenance i should do to keep the water clear ?
