Hejsan,
As per the title, I'll be on exchange to Sweden in Jönköping next year for the Jan - June semester. It'll be my first time staying overseas this long and of course the longest I will have ever been in Sweden (went to Sweden twice, for about a month each).
So to be more specific. And I don't really know if this is the right subreddit to do this. But I'm keen on getting an internship perhaps after the semester. What avenues are available to me to do?
Also, as an exchange student in Sweden, what norms should I be aware of? And any pro tips in general.
Is it better to get a second-hand bicycle than using the public transport?
And what can I do if I have the free time to travel around the country? Since I'll be around during winter, spring and summer. What events should I really go to?
And lastly, I'm an amateur photographer, I do fair bit of street photography so it'll also be lovely to meet with fellow photographers. And if there are any Microsoft Student Partners around, hit me up as well.
And that is all, thank you for reading!
