Grammar Question: "that" subordinate clause
Post Body

Hey y'all, I didn't really find much in the grammar books I was using but I was curious on how subordinate clauses work in Kiswahili;

So, there's kwamba, ya kuwa, & kama which all translate to "that" (I know there are other meanings, but I'm focusing on this context)

E.g., I think (that)... E.g., I want.... E.g., he wanted me to do.... Etc.

(Ni)nafikiri kwamba anaweza kusema lugha tatu.

I wanted him to see the animals in the Serengeti.

Nilitaka kwamba anawaona wanyama katika Serengeti.

Nilitaka kujua kama ninaweza kununua kitabu hiki hapa. - I wanted to know if(whether) I can buy this book here.
