I know there are several choices who can become chief justice.

In my previous run (dictator) Gloria asked for the position when it would become vacant. After the constitution passed, I am able to remove them by personal choice:

• remove Hawker
• remove Heron
• only old guard
• complete shuffle

I removed only the old guard because the centrists did help. My understanding was I could pick Gloria because I wanted to keep my end of the bargain. The option was not available somehow which resulted in conservatives (under Gloria) working against me the remainder of the game.

Did I miss something? Did I pick the wrong answer or miss something? Even if I could have given the position to Gloria, what are the results of this?
