Can we please normalize repairing stuff like clothing, furniture, electronics, appliances etc. Again instead of just throwing them away and replacing them

I wish we could normalize repairing our belongings like we did decades ago it'd be so much better for the environment and you get to keep stuff you might be sentimental about it just really bums me out that there aren't as many services like there used to be to get your stuff fixed nowadays you have to mail your stuff in to businesses who provide repair services and there used to be at least 1 repair store in each town for multiple types of products and now that business has dwindled so much
