Can a Swedish Dishcloth Sub for Magic Eraser?
Post Body

No shame if anyone else uses them, because if you have ever used one, you know they work really well! I have had one in my cleaning supplies for a while and I figured I'd use it for some deep cleaning, but it got me thinking about it.

If you can find DIY to make them yourself, the key is "Melamine Foam" a fine, abrasive material. But the foam is plastic, and it seems there are mixed opinions on the overall effect and if it puts out microplastics.

My question is, looking at the DIY to make a magic eraser, it calls for soaking the melamine foam sponge in a borax & baking soda solution, could I replace the sponge for a Swedish Dishcloth which its absorbent and it sort of abrasive?
