I know this is a dumb question but I’ve been decluttering and donating my stuff and I started to be more sustainable in all areas (e.g., travelling leas and using public transportation when I do, eating plant-based foods, etc.) but I can’t seem to get rid of books even though they consume a lot of trees.
For a bit of context, I’m neurodivergent and studying, and books are the best way for me to learn and keep up with neurotypical classmates. Books are also a comfort activity so that I consume less pessimistic arguments and news in the internet while also reducing the urge to go out shopping.
I donate the books that I don’t like or won’t read again so I try my best to offset the books that I do get, so is it possible to be sustainable?
