A word about advantages and the smaller three tribes format
Post Body

I am absolutely FLOODED by this season, so many good characters! And what a relief they all have had plenty of screen time to express their personalities and individual struggles! We talk a lot about how the advantages of modern survivor have sometimes dominated the narrative of episodes but 42 has been a great example of how everything we were iffy about in 41 could be improved with a different cast of people, everything we've seen so far has been very balanced. Mike not blurting out his code word the moment he has the idol is a great strategy! And oh my goodness the tension building up to Omar and Chanelle's was such a twist! Great to see that wheel finally paying off, I can only imagine the tension between the two if they make it to merge. But let's get to it the best part about this episode was the vote!!! In a tribe of six where two votes are lost there's no hiding behind a majority vote like the tribes of 10 castaways, it's so sad because everyone is just so darn likable this episode really felt like my parents getting a divorce, no one could have left that night happy. What a way to put people against one another, bravo survivor, this was an absolute trainwreck to watch
