After a rewatch of San Juan Del Sur, I suddenly have an appreciation for the season that I didn’t during my initial viewing of it. Besides having one of my favorite winners I thought that the season really captured a lot of the spirit of seasons past. A lot of the focus was more on relationships between cast members and surviving As opposed to strictly only game talk and numbers talk and who has 13 idols and who doesn’t. Especially in juxtaposition with the current season that is riddled with twists that seem almost impossible to navigate if you’re actually playing the game. What did you guys think of the season on your first watch? What about on your rewatch? Do you feel like the shift towards heavy twists is exhausting? Would you like to see another blood vs water?
