There's been alot of back and forth on why Charlie lost.
Tevin did a live yesterday where he mentioned Charlie had an answer to a question where ue said that he would give each jury member a cut of the winnings to donate to their charity of choice.
Not knocking donating to charity but this is kind of weird to me that he even offered this. It just gives confusion because why would you give the whole jury apart of your winnings. As a juror an answer like this would of confused me.
Adding Charlie's response below for context:
This is not what I said, and this comment is not to say I nailed the money question. I clearly didnāt! They show the line in my answer where I say everyone on the show had something bigger than themselves they were playing for. Tevin for example said repeatedly in the game that he wanted to use the money for certain causes. Everyone had talked about some sort of charitable cause they wanted to support. Then, I segued into my statement about immigration law. I had just done the immigration clinic at my law school, and worked as an immigration paralegal before law school. It was also my āin gameā job, so it would felt right to me do right by that cause. I talked about honoring that aspect of getting to know everyone and thatās why I brought up donating. In hindsight, the jury was clearly not vibing with that, so my answer wasnāt good! But that also is what I would have done with the money, so I suppose it was honest but stupid? I may also have worded it poorly in the moment, but this is how I remember it and my intention. Hope this helps!
