I see a lot of people saying this is one of the best seasons ever. I agree there are a few entertaining characters, and the Kaleb SITD will be historic, but overall I don't think the characters stack up against most other seasons.

And the game format has had so many let downs. With the tribe swaps and post merge tribes/teams no one can develop a long term strategy which I think always helps see who strategizes best and who crashes and burns. The auction was cool to bring back but seems pretty unanimous its implementation wasn't good.

Of course this is just my opinion and people like what they like. But I'd love to hear what makes people think this season is standing out as one of the best?
