So I grew up with a duck walk, toes pointed outwards when walking, and that hasn't been an issue until I hit my 20's when I developed massive knee pain for trying to run again.
According to my physical therapist my duck walking made my hips weak, muscles inflexible, and gave me flat foot and knee pain. But stopped my treatments after the 3rd session cause I'm losing $75s every time I go there. I knew my problems so I could fix them myself.
Eventually I picked up a SwellTech, the most unforgiving surf skate cause go big or go home. When I finally got the swaying motions of the board on lock down, the soles of my feet started to burn in muscle pain. This is fantastic I was developing an arch to my foot.
Since, this board forces you to use every leg muscle and demands flexibility to move. I soon lost all pain in my knees and I can walk normally now.
I also forced my self to use the board goofy and regular, with knee fully extended or while fully squatting.
