I’ve had many issues with Surfshark since subscribing to their vpn and dedicated IP. If you would like more specifics please see my previous posts. In response to my complaints, multiple members of Surfsharks customer service team have promised me a free day of service for everyday that they have not provided a solution, in lieu of the refund they refuse to give me. This was in early July.

Fast forward to this week. I reached out to Surfshark for an update as I hadn’t heard anything for some time. They offered to give me a new DIP (something I asked for almost 4 months ago) which I told them I would accept under the condition that it would actually fix the issue. I then asked about the compensation I had discussed multiple times with various members of their customer service team. I added up that, from the day I had made my first complaint to the present, it had been 111 days. In that time they made no attempts to provide a solution and my DIP continued to be nonfunctional.

I am now being told that the best they can do is extend my DIP subscription by two months. I have informed them that I have multiple archived conversations and emails between myself and their customer service stating that we reached this agreement on multiple occasions. They still continue to refuse me the compensation they initially agreed to.

The brazenness of Surfshark to accept money for a product they know is faulty, then refuse a refund, and to then back out of what little compensation they agreed to is astounding to me. I cannot recommend that anyone use their services and I hope this post helps others steer clear of them
