Hi! I’m new to surfing (took lessons in Dec ‘23) and want to get better at surfing. I live in NYC, so don’t get the access to practice much. Considering traveling to Costa Rica for a week in Dec’24 and taking surfing lessons. Would appreciate if someone can provide any tips for a trip of this kind!!

Also, I read some previous threads which say it has gotten very expensive to surf in Costa Rica and not worth anymore? Would appreciate if anyone can suggest alternatives as I have been saving vacation days to take a week off in December for this!
