My vote would be somewhere between santa cruz and los angeles. Seems like everywhere else I’ve been in the world is pretty reasonable. ..but then again ive only surfed in a handful of other regions. Sure, theres the crusty old unc in hawaii, the featherweight tico in CR, or the 12 yr old smoking cigarettes in the JAX pier parking lot. But for my money the california ppl are the worst. (Looking for archetypal answers here similar to the examples above)
Honestly I ivied in Newcastle nsw Australia for last 15 years and certain breaks around there are full of old losers who think it’s the 70s still the amount of shot talk is rediculous
Soon as you call them out tho they shit themselves
