Just picked up Support and am loving it, but I have one big concern...

I'm slightly worried about my ability to stay focused and motivated to climb playing support because of how I sometimes feel at the whim of my AD.
I played a game with a vayne player recently (you can imagine how that went) and it was incredibly demotivating (as you can imagine how much they flamed after each of their deaths).
I'm just wondering what you guys do as far as mindset going into the climb as support.
