I am working with a non-profit that receives truckloads of donated goods. These are delivered to a large warehouse with a loading dock where they are unloaded.
I own a small (1600 square foot) warehouse at my home. They plan to transfer some pallets of goods to my warehouse in box trucks (for now rentals, eventually buying a truck). I do not have a loading dock, so we need a way to get the pallets out of the truck. Rather than buy a forklift, I think something like this pallet stacker might be a good idea. This has a max of 2200 pounds which matches the heaviest pallets I would likely receive (a pallet of water bottles).
Is there anything I should know before buying one of these? Thanks in advance!
