So I work in a very large Hospital in the warehouse. I work overnight by myself taking calls and delivering soft goods to all the various departments and floors as they need them. I've learned so much about all these items and what they're for and when to use them. But because I'm so isolated from the rest of my department I haven't learned much about the supply chain process. Even the software we use. I only need 1 small part of it to do my job, all the rest is foreign to me.
My question is, what can I do with everything I've learned? I'm technically a supply chain clerk but haven't learned much about the supply chain process. But I can tell you more about every item in this warehouse than anyone else who works here. What's that good for? Where can I go with that kind of experience? Or should I focus on getting a better understanding of the process? Any help, suggestions would be appreciated. I'm feeling stuck. Thanks in advance!
