Creating a character with kinetic manipulation powers

So I'm working on a short story to test bed a concept I've been working on, and my main character will have kinetic energy manipulation powers, but I'm struggling to expand her power set beyond using kinetic blasts to zip around the city, blast guys back with kinetic blasts, and stop gunfire by stripping the energy from the rounds. I'm also struggling to find any potential counters/weaknesses, especially since I know someone with her previous power set was taken out in my concept.
