Have an opportunity to grab a set of sumo wheels and some extra goodies that will fit my YZ for a great price. But I have been considering selling it and getting a WR. So I am not sure what I want to do. I know I can convert my YZ, done all the homework on that already. But I know it wont be the best street bike. There is a sumo track fairly close to me but not sure how often I could get there and thats why I would want to have something street legal, so I can get on it and go whenever and wherever. I'm guessing that the wheels would fit a WR as well if I did get them and decide to make the switch later.
So my question is for all of you with converted MX bikes how does it do on the road and how much do you actually take it out in traffic and stuff? I wouldn't use it to commute or anything just to be able to mess around town and explore my area. Don't want these wheels to slip away but I can't make up my mind about what would be best. I still ride MX when I can so kind of want to be able to do everything. I mean as best as a bike can do everything I guess. Thanks.
