I love Superman, I love his bad guys, but the villains don’t seem to interact too much with each other which is odd to me.

Aside from one movie, I can’t think of any big storylines where Zod has really interacted with Lex Luthor, despite the possibilities being really interesting. Is Zod proof in Lex’s eyes that yes, Superman is a selfish narcissist and the only difference between Zod and Superman is that Zod fights for Krypton and Superman fights for Earth? Does Zod see Lex as an extension of Kal’s weakness for letting this tiny mortal man be such a threat or is he a respectable diamond in the rough in the insect race that is humanity?

Mongul and Zod would make for great enemies, and I think it’d be really interesting to maybe give Zod an enemy he was bred to protect Krypton from. It could give some sympathetic motivations behind his regime, even though he absolutely went too far.

Brainiac and Darkseid have worked together briefly in the animated series, and I think that was a great way to have two juggernauts of Superman’s rogue’s gallery go head to head.
