To be honest I actually like the hair swapping of Lois Lane and Lana Lang in the DCEU. Making Lois the redhead and Lana the brunette.

Also to a lesser extent in the Smallville series where Lois was blonde-ish and Lana was full brunette.
Plus it’s very reminiscent of the Dan Jurgens 90s Superman era. Which I think the DCEU does perfectly.
